Course Overview

This course features fracture liaison services (FLS) and orthogeriatric services (OGS) for secondary preventive care for fracture sufferers.

By completing this course, you should:

    • Understand what FLS and OGS are.
    • Describe the post-fracture care teams.
    • Recognise the role of the PCP in the post-fracture care programs.

Self-assessment criteria:

    • You must complete a multiple-choice question-based assessment to test your understanding of the content covered in this course.
    • There are 7 questions with a time limit of 15 minutes to complete the assessment. Once this time has elapsed, the assessment will be considered   completed at its current level of progress.
    • A maximum of three attempts are allowed to pass the self-assessment.
    • The pass mark is 80%.

If you successfully pass the assessment, you will be awarded certification for course 7 and progress to course 8.
